DORETTA M. (nee Keyes), Dec. 20, 2010. Beloved wife of the late Mario F., loving mother to John F. and Marie (Michael) Lafferty. World's Best Grand-mother to Salvadore, Matthew and Nicholas. Relatives and friends are invited to Doretta's Funeral Wednesday 7:30 P.M. MANNAL FUNERAL HOME, 6925 Frankford Ave. (at Tyson), where friends may call Wed. 6:30 to 7:30 P.M. Int. private. In lieu of flowers contributions in Doretta's name may be made to The American Heart Assoc., 5455 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43214.

My memories of my Aunt Doretta involve my childhood and my cousins, John and Marie. Our love of the "shore" came from our parents and my Aunt Doretta. I clearly remember her pink Rambler station wagon. I remember going to the Wildwood Drive In where we saw "Psycho" with my cousins, mom and Aunt Doretta. We all fell asleep and had to be awakened to leave the drive in. Great times at the house at 15th street in North Wildwood with my Dad jumping off the porch. One time when I did something bad (can't remember the horrible infraction) but my Mom had me come over to wash Aunt Doretta's kitchen floor! Oh, the injustice. I also remember going over the Silvidios for dinner and the delicious Italian cookies. I hope that the memories of my Aunt, cousins and my parents help comfort us during this time and the holiday season. I know that her love of her husband, children, grandchildren and Wildwood will continue on for all of us. Niece, Jeanmarie Mason and Donald, Julie and David Mason
