Dear Phyllis
I just happened upon this and I am deeply sorry to see it.
Please accept my sincere sympathy. Had I known I would have attended his service.
Jay was a wonderful wonderful teacher to my students and they really loved him. His assistance in teaching Math to some of my students was invaluable to me and a tremendous help to them. His chocolate chip cookies were amazing and legendary. I am better and so grateful for having known him. In this small world he was also a teacher to my amazing dentist Dr Joseph Venneri. You and your family will be in my prayers.

Jay was one of 11 boys in the graduating class of 28 at Moorestown Friends School in 1958. A member of an undefeated soccer team. A great classmate and good friend. My thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Phyliss and family. Bill Teale

Jay and I were classmates at Moorestown Friends School for eleven years, starting in 2nd grade. We all went our different ways after graduation but I shall always remember him as a smiling quiet friend.

I am deeply sorrowed by your loss. Jay and I shared a special bond sharing memories of the close friendship my mother had with his mother. I will miss our conversations in the hardware store. My thoughts are with you at this time of mourning.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Please take comfort in the words found at Isaiah 61:1,2.
