EDWARD DALY Obituary
EDWARD J., 59, of Morrisville, PA, on January 3, 2013. Beloved husband of Peg Mautz Daly; father of Sean G. and Bridget K. Daly. Also survived by a large and extended family including, Veronica Daly, Jeep Muchorski, Pat Daly and their families; father-in-law, Joseph Mautz and the Mautz family.
Family and friends are invited to call from 4 P.M. to 7 P.M., Sunday, at FITZGERALD-SOMMER FUNERAL HOME, 17 S. Delaware Ave., (River Road), Yardley PA, and to attend his Funeral Mass, at 10:30 A.M., Monday, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 752 Big Oak Road, Morrisville PA. Private Interment at Washington Crossing National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Cooper Neurological Institute, c/o The Cooper Foundation, 200 Federal St., Suite 146, Camden NJ 08103.

Ed and I had great conversations back in the old Hartford days. He was always generous with his opinions about work, golf, and family. We kept up with each other through emails. Loved his attitude, and his zest for life. I am truly sorry for you loss.

Ed was a great friend over many years going back to his days at Hahn Air Base in Germany where he was one of the original Pros from Dover. I was always grateful that he took the effort to keep in touch after the service and can tell you he took great pleasure In being a husband and dad. My thoughts are with you.

To the Daly's,
My deepest sympathy to all of you on Ed's passing. He was our company's benefit broker for the last several years, but much more importantly, I considered him my friend. I respected him highly and was appreciative of the care he took in his business dealings, and the honest approach he had in all his relationships. We've always marveled at the strength and dignity he had in fighting his illness. He truly loved each of you and spoke highly of all of you often. Though we will all miss him, I know he is a better place now. My prayers are with you.

I'm soory that I only got to visit Ed that one time at your home. Things got away from me through the fall and Jim Sheppard and I had just spoken about a visit last week. I know that you're well aware of it but Ed was a terrific guy and, despite his protestations, one of my better students. I'll miss talking with him.
