Ed was the kindest person I ever worked for. I started working for him at Wpen /Wmgk in 1981

At that time I was one of the first female salespeople there. He always treated me with respect and made sure the other salesmen did.

I will always remember his smiling eyes and great smile.
How lucky I was to know him.

Ed was my boss at Wpen/Wmgk for eight years.
When I started working for him in 1980, I was 23 years old. He treated me like one of his own precious daughters.
When I think of Ed I can't remember him not flashing his famous smile and his sparkling blue eyes.
To this day, I quote his words of wisdom and experience to my husband, family and friends.
I learned valuable skills in my job and in my personal life from Ed.
Ed attended both my mother and my father's funerals, even though it was many years after I had retired frim my radio career. He kindly shared with me his advice in dealing with grief that he personally experienced with the loss of his dear mother.

Recently, Ed called me and I was amazed at his keen memory of the day he hired me. I am grateful we had a chance to talk and laugh together one last time.

My deepest condolences to his family at this sad time in their loss of a very special person. Sending special sympathy and love to all, especially Patty.
May his memory be for a blessing.
