So sorry to hear of Ed's passing. I knew him thru my Brother Bill Cotner who was his friend and fellow rower for many years. He was always so nice to Bill's little sister. I have thought about him over the years. May he rest in peace. A fellow Fairmounter

I am so sorry to just have learned of Ed's passing. Ed and I were grade partners when we taught together 20-25 years ago. It was a pleasure to work with Ed and his students loved him. Ed was full of stories and could keep us entertained for hours. My condolences to his family, the rowing community, and all his friends.

So sorry, to hear of Ed's passing. My name is Stephen M. Jaron...I rowed for Ed at Crescent, Fairmount, and Malta. I currently live in Naples,Florida and still compete in Master's Sculling events. Ed was much more than a coach, he taught me and many other oarsman the Art of Sculling. His coaching expertise and lesson's on life will be sorely missed!
