Elizabeth McGettigan Obituary

McGettigan Elizabeth The family of Elizabeth McGettigan is saddened to announce her passing on May 10th, 2025 at the age of 60. Elizabeth was born in Philadelphia on January 1st, 1965 to Ruth (nee Gutbrod) McGettigan and the late Joseph E. McGettigan. Elizabeth had a charming smile, a delightful sense of humor, a generous spirit and a kind heart. She was a passionate reader and music lover, but most important to her was the time she spent with her family. In addition to her mother, she is survived by her loving sisters and brothers: Kathleen, Joseph (Gay Warren), Mary (Larry A. Caputo, MD), Jeanne (Balbino Uriarte), Michael (Kathleen Krattenmaker), Patricia (Mike Postil), and Susan, as well as her niece and nephews: Luisa and Martin Uriarte, Samuel Postil and Andrew McGettigan. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday, June 18th, 2025 at 10:00 A.M. in St. Francis de Sales Church, 4625 Springfield Ave., Philadelphia, PA 19143. Mass will follow in church at 11:00 A.M.
