Dear family and friends of Elliot
I had come to know Elliot through the course of work. In a very short time I was very impressed with his philosophy on life and his sense of integrity. I was deeply touched by Elliot's approach to his fate. The grace with which he accepted his situation should be taken by all as a valuable lesson in life. In the short time I knew him, I never saw anything but a smile on his face and a warm, friendly disposition. It was truly my privilege to make his acquaintance. Thank-you for this opportunity to pay tribute to Elliot. My most sincere regards to all who mourn his passing.

I'm sure you are all are as saddened as I to hear the news of Elliot's passing. I can't remember ever having met someone who faced such a daunting personal challenge so gracefully and absent of mallice. Those of you who knew him over the years saw Elliot rebound from a number of set backs. I'm very thankful that I got to see a man that woke up every morning with a tremendous burden and chose to reveal only a friendly smile and pleasant disposition.
