Ethel Zagerman Obituary

ZAGERMAN
ETHEL R., 74, of Mt. Laurel, NJ died peacefully on Oct. 8, 2006 at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital. Born in Wilkes Barre, PA to Lillian and Joseph Ravitz. Ethel grew up in Reading, PA and trained to be a nurse at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Phila. Ethel leaves behind her beloved husband of 51 years, Jack, as well as children Steve (Carol Oppenheimer), Diane (Don Golder) and Robert (Connie), grandchildren Auden Golder, Sophie and Willa Zagerman and Jordan and Morgan Zagerman. She also leaves behind her sister and friend, Rachel Ravitz Yaffee (David). Though her nursing career ended when she became a mother, she never stopped caring for others. She loved her children and grandchildren, her friends, walking on the beach in Sarasota, the Phillies in good times and bad, Frank Sinatra, John Lennon, Larry David, the color blue and always and above all, Jack. Ethel, we will miss you forever. You enriched our lives and made us better people. You taught us how to love deeply and loyally, how to be a friend, and how to accept the curve balls life throws us. Your compassion, grace and beauty changed our lives. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ethel's memory to the Sunshine Foundation, 1040 Mill Creek Drive, Feasterville, PA 19053. A memorial will be held on Tuesday, October 10 at 12 Noon at Prospector's Restaurant, Rt 38 and Ark Road in Mt. Laurel, NJ. Arrangements by the
