I was a member of Our Lady of Angels when Father Carbo was there.
He was a very special person and he was always there for those who needed him. Father Carbo was kind enough to officiate our marriage at Holy Cross Church in Springfield in 1974. For this, Joe and I will forever be grateful. I recently loss my Mom in 03/2005 so I know how difficult it is to loose someone that is loved and so special. Also, Father Carbo we never got to thank you personally for your Christmas card, but you were and are in our thoughts and prayers. Our sincere condolences to with your family. God Bless

I will always remember Father Carbo as a young priest at Our Lady of Angels. My mother was sick then and we lived with my grandmother across from the rectory, and he was always there with comforting words for my sister and I. He is in heaven now with my mother praying for all of us.

I knew Monsignor Carbo when he was pastor at Our Lady of the Assumption in Strafford, PA.
Monsignor helped me out a great deal and I will never forget him for that. He was a very special pastor and priest.

Father Carbo was our pastor at St. Anthony's Church in Chester. He will always be thought of fondly and remembered for his extreme kindness and sincere nature. Father knew everyone in the parish by their first name. He was inspirational to us all and helped us through personal losses. God Bless Father Carbo.

I want to send my deepest sympathy to the Carbo family. I considered Msgr.Carbo a close friend of mine and he always accepted everyone the same. I've known him since he was a rookie priest right out of the seminary. I was one of his altar boys. We will miss him. But now I have my own buddy to pray to because I know he has connections up there....... Rest in peace Msgr.
