FEIGENBERG EVELYN (nee BEER) On February 18, 2021, at the age of 84. Wife of the late Dr. Marvin E. Feigenberg; mother of Andrew (Barbara) Feigenberg, Sheri (Gregg) Hensel and Dr. Steven (Khue) Feigenberg; grandmother of Jacob, Matthew and Isabelle Feigenberg, Bobby (Laurie) Feigenberg and Staci (fiancé David Steen) Feigenberg. Born in 1936 in Vienna, Austria to William and Lina Beer where they escaped to Switzerland in 1938 due to the Nazi's imminent invasion of Austria. The family lived in Schaffhausen until 1941 when they immigrated to the United States sailing from Portugal. Evelyn was a graduate of Girls High and Temple University and taught elementary school and special education for the Philadelphia School System until she retired in 1993. Graveside Services will be private. Shiva will be held via zoom, contact the family for information. Thank you for reminding me of Evelyn. We worked together in the same Resource Room in Elementary School in Roxborough. We had a wonderful time together working with the students who needed us.

Wonderful remembering Evelyn Feigenberg as I worked with her a number of years in the same Philadelphia Elementary School. Evelyn wrote me every year after we retired. Fond Memories and thoughts to the family.

So sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Evelyn and I worked together at Levering Elementary School a number of years. We also kept in touch over the years with holiday cards with notes of our family and experiences.
Wonderful to work with Evelyn and to remain a distant friend over the years.
