FLORENCE COMPAINE Obituary
FLORENCE (nee Litman)
Of Philadelphia, died peace-fully on January 4, 2017 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of Mark and mother of Benjamin and Suzanne (Sussman), grand-mother of Lawrence Sussman and Megan Compaine, great grandmother of Cole and Chase Sussman. Eldest daughter of Phillip and Sophie (Axler) Litman. Sister of Sylvia Finkel and the late Mitzi Lertzman. She will be greatly missed by nieces Janis Glusman (David) and Barbara Cobuzzi (Robert) and nephews Bruce Compaine (Rosenne), Douglas Finkel (Jody Gray), Andrew Compaine (John Dubrow). Services will be held graveside at Har Jehuda Cemetery on Sunday, January 8 at 12 Noon precisely. Family and friends will return to the Quadrangle, 3400 Darby Road, Haverford, PA 19041. Donations in her memory may be sent to JDRF Diabetes Foundation, (jdrf.org) or the ARC of Phila., (arcphiladelphia.org).
