I was so sorry to hear about Mr. Strawbridge´s passing. He was such a staple in my life between attending Merion Meeting or enjoying dinners, movies and super bowls with my parents. He was such a kind man and I enjoyed knowing him. My thoughts are with you guys.

My deepest condolences and blessings to the family. I first met Fran at the White Grass Ranch in 1955. We remained friends throughout the years. It was always delightful when he came to the White Grass Ranch reunions to share memories of the ranch. We had fun visits when he and Mary Jo visited Jackson.

The Strawbridge family was always a piller of the Philadelphia area communities. I do not know them personally, but I am very sorry to read that Mr. Strawbridge has passed. I was a loyal customer and, on a personal note, as a young girl prior to her marrying my grandfather, my grandmother was in their employ over 100 years ago and to her final days always reminisced about how much she not only enjoyed working there, but shopping there for many decades after she left the company. She made me a loyal customer also. Shopping at a Strawbridge store was always a pleasure. My condolences to the Strawbridge family.
