Frederick Stuart Obituary

STUART FREDERICK "FRED" ADOLPHUS On June 30, 2025, Frederick "Fred" Adolphus Stuart passed away. Fred, born February 24, 1943, was the only child of Eleanor Widmer and Frederick Stuart, Sr. He attended Germantown Academy (1947-1961) and Princeton University until 1965, where he served as associate editor of the Daily Princetonian. Fred was director of employment and training for Aramark for ten years, executive recruiter and consultant to the Millard Group and president of Stuart Recruiting until his retirement. Fred loved writing, travel, and the theatre. He was very proud of his Philadelphia roots. He was a big supporter of women's equality and animal rights. His friends remember him for his sense of humor, erudition and wit. Fred served on the board of the Delaware River Port Authority as a community representative and on the board of his condo association. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Karen Beth Davis, his sister-in-law Stephanie Davis and his brother-in-law Gordon Davis. In lieu of flowers, and especially in these dark times, please consider a gift to your local Planned Parenthood. DINAN FUNERAL HOME
