GARRY E.
Age 69, of Southampton, died February 7, 2017. Beloved husband of Joan A. Graham Cohen for 41 years. Devoted father of Geoffrey Cohen (Brooke), Rebecca Delaney (Chris) and James Cohen (Elizabeth). He is also survived by 3 grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9 to 11 A.M., on Saturday, February 11, 2017, at THE LAMB FUNERAL HOME (at Forest Hills), 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley. His Funeral Service will be 11 A.M. In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to Operation Smile.

On February 7th, I lost the most important man in my life, my Father, Garry Cohen. He taught me so many life lessons and always believed in me even when I didn't believe in myself. He was the most amazing Father to me and my brothers. He was great husband to my Mom. He was a kind person to all people. He was also the most thoughtful person I have ever met. I will never forget all the softball practices and games he took me to and always encouraged me to keep doing my best. He might have been my biggest fan in softball but I was his biggest fan in life. He never gave up even though he was ill, all he wanted was to be here and spend time with his family. And though his body has left this earth his soul will live eternally in my heart and in all the hearts of those who knew him. Rest peacefully Dad, I love you so much.

On February 7th, my dad, Garry Cohen, passed away. I will always remember him for the person that he has inspired me to be. I will always remember his relentless courage to overcome every challenge to be with his family. I will remember the sacrifices he made for us. Most importantly, I will remember that no matter what he went through, he did it with a smile on his face. I could not be more proud to have had the dad like him, and I will take every lesson I learned from him to be the best father and husband that I can be. Thanks for everything Dad. We love you.

I'm truly sorry for the loss of a dear loved one. I didn't know Garry but from just watching the video of him and his children, grandchildren, his wife. I was so touch by the love and the kindness that has for those whom he loved.beautiful person in the heart.Take comfort in knowing the one who gave life to all living creatures is certainly capable of restoring life to someone who has died.read those comforting words Psalms 36:9. And may God continue to be with you and your loved ones. My deepest and sincere condolences to the family and friends.

I was fortunate enough to meet Gary Cohen through his daughter Rebecca. When I met him, he was kind and witty in a very "Dad" kind of way. I always laughed when he teased his son in law on social media, and could tell he had a wonderful sense of humor from the stories Rebecca would tell me. He raised a beautiful family, and I am proud to have met him and to be a friend of his daughter. He will be missed greatly.
