I can't believe it's been 9 years since Garry's passing. I remember him as easy going, a gentleman at all times and part of the nice memories I have from working at NAWC

Garry was my immediate boss at NAWC. He was a great guy and was very well liked and admired by all his peers. I was saddened to learn of his passing. My condolences to his wife and family.

I worked with Garry on the F-35 and always found him to be professional, knowledgable, and most importantly willing to help in anyway he could. I appreciated everything he did for me and I can only offer condolences to his family and friends. May you find peace.

Fare winds and following seas my friend. It’s been an honor knowing and working with you for the past 10+ years. You touched the lives of so many in your work and your legacy will continue on to touch many, many more in those that will operate and support the F-35. You will be greatly missed.

I meant Garry several years ago when we working the X-35 demonstrator together. He was one of the most knowledgeable engineers I never worked with. I always carried himself with integrity and professionlaism. It was an honor to work with him

Dear Cousin Fran,
I really don't have any words. I wish we lived closer. I know how hard it is, coping with everything and I hope you find comfort and strength with your family and friends that live in town. Cancer is a thief, it steals time and love and a lot of other things from those who suffer from it and those who are the caregivers. I know that Garry would not have fought as long and as hard as he did, if not for your love and support.

My cousin was a good man, smart and funny and caring. Though our visits were rare, I treasure them and I am thankful that Ryan got to visit with you all a few times over the last few years. I'll never forget the day Ryan called me, yakking about vet school or something and then handed the phone to somebody and I heard Garry's voice and I said "what are you doing in Illinois?" and Garry laughed and said Ryan was with you guys in Philly. Crazy kid - at least you all made sure he called me and let me know what he was up to. I know Garry thought it was pretty funny that Ryan had driven all the way to Philly without telling me. But he said if that's the worst thing Ryan ever did, then I was a lucky mom.
I hope that Garry finds Aunt Jo and my dad somewhere along the way - I know you have a special guardian angel watching over you.
Take care of yourself, and Max and Molly. We love you.
Karen and Ryan
