So sorry for your loss. I knew George only through his son, Jimmy, who was a childhood friend. I know that George also worked with my father, George Chapin, in the early years. I hope your grieving gets easier with each day that passes.

The members of our CopNET family would like to thank George T. Holzwarth for his dedication and service to the citizens of Philadelphia. The passing of George will be broadcast to our 2401 members shortly and we would like to extend our sincere condolences to your family. His absence from our ranks will be deeply missed by the remaining members of Philadelphia’s Finest who were fortunate to have served with him during his police career. He will continue in our thoughts and prayers during our remaining days. God Bless . . .
