I had the privilege of meeting uncle and aunty a few times. They have brought so much joy to our lives. Uncle was an amazing person who always encouraged me to cling to God no matter what. Both uncle and aunty were very fond of my kids. They enjoyed hearing them sing and encouraged them to sing in tamil. Over these past years I have come to know them as a loving couple who showed Christ in their lives. They have been upholding my family in prayer and always made sure they visited us every time they came to lynchburg. I believe they had just adopted me as their own. With a heavy and sad heart, I write this.... Uncle will be missed terribly but I know that I will meet him in Heaven and till then, his golden words of wisdom and love will always be a part of my life and that of Rishona and Yenina. I am praying for Comfort and peace for Aunty, Prima ka and Christa's family.

Dear Shaku Aunty, Prima, Renu and family
It is so hard to accept that Gerry uncle is no longer with us.
He was such a great blessing to us all by the way he lived
his life--a truly Christian life with humility and such grace
that could best be described as a constant, beautiful hymn
of praise to the Lord Jesus.
It was always a joy to talk to uncle, for he was always so
uplifting and full of thankfulness for everything. Over the
phone he taught us the Tamil Chorus, Mahilvom, Mahilvom!
That was indeed his story and that certainly was always his
song—Rejoicing in and Praising our Savior all the day long.
His life was a wonderful testimony to His joy in Jesus.
We will always remember uncle and miss him very much.
Shaku Aunty,Prima and Renu, our prayer is that the Lord will watch over you, comfort and keep you and all the family always in His loving care.
With our love and prayers

Uncle Gerry touched many lives over his life time and made positive impacts on all of them. He always had nice things to say and share with others. His is a life worth living and one worthy of being emulated.
We as a family have a special place for him in our hearts. You both shared so much with us and we remember those acts of kindness with thanks.
Uncle will be sorely missed by all those whose life he touched.
God will surely continue to guard protect and guide you Shaku aunty. He will hold you in the palm of His hand.
I would like to remember the song from Psalm 91 "Unnathamaanavarin Uyar Maraivil Irrukiravan" at this time.
We thank God for such a wonderful life like uncle's at this time. May his soul rest in peace.

Dear Aunty, Prima and Renu,
We were very sad to hear te news that Uncle has passed away. We will always cherish the memories of a kind and decent man who really cared for everyone and above all loved his Lord and Savior. The comfort and the assurance for you and for all of us is that today, he is with his Lord and his Savior and is waiting for us to join him in eternal bliss. That is our blessed hope and the victory that Jesus won on the cross for us. We remember you and your family in our prayers and we know that God will comfort you and provide for you.
