Survived by parents, Rita and George; wife, Claudia; sister, Judy, niece, Morgan and former wife Kathy Quigley, mother of Christian and Madeleine. Memorial Service Sunday, July 21, 2013, 1:30 P.M., Westtown Friends Meeting, Westtown School, 975 Westtown Rd., West Chester PA 19382. In lieu of flowers, send donations in Greg's memory to Community Volunteers in Medicine, 300 Lawrence Dr., Suite B, West Chester PA 19380.

Dear Greg's Family,
My deceased parents, John and Mary Erthal, were dear friends of George and Rita. I am sure if they were with us today, they would be profoundly sorry to hear of the DeSimone family loss. My parents knew Greg and Judy, and they were very close to George and Rita. My sympathy to all the DeSimone family members.

I had the pleasure of selling cars to Dr. DeSimone since 2004. He was truly one of my favorite customers. He always took time to talk, and had a genuine interest in my family. I am so sorry to hear the news. It was a pleasure serving him.

I was a patient twice in the ER at Jennersville Regional Hospital and Dr.Simone is one of the few doctors who knew the autoimmune disorder I have along with my secondary issues.He was kind,understanding and moreover exceptional at what he did as well as his caring manner.I am so sorry to hear of his sudden passing.

I was shocked when I heard the news of Dr. DeSimone's death. We will miss him each and everyday. Greg was our ER doc at Delaware County Memorial Hospital when I was a paramedic there. He was great to work with. As my children grew and I moved to Chester County, I had many opportunities to see him again at JRH ER when I took my son in almost annually. He treated us very well and will be missed. R.I.P. Dr Desimone.

From meeting at Bonner Mixers in high school to many happy gatherings with the extended Di Rocco family, Gregory lit up a room with his kind smile and was a treat to converse with - a true,true gentleman. Rest in Peace, Gregory.

I was very saddened to hear of Greg's passing. As you may recall, I was the past bookkeeper for 9 years. He became a good friend during those years. He was a dedicated doctor, loved life and adored his children. He will be greatly missed. Rest in peace, Greg.

As the nursing director of the Emergency department at Jennersville Regional hospital,a good friend and coworker for the entire 23 years Greg worked here, words can not explain the loss that all of the staff and the many patients that he cared for feel. He was kind, competent and compassionate. He touched all our lives many times and in many ways. Greg was a great member of the community and touched a lot of hearts through his work in the Emergency Department at Jennersville. I will miss our morning talks about interesting new books and movies as well as a good working partner. RIP
