Gregory Paul "Smiles" Smiley

Smiley Gregory Paul, "Smiles" Age 64, of Malvern, PA, passed away on May 5, 2024. He was born on November 14, 1959, in Erie, PA to the late Edward and Sylvia Pintea Smiley. Greg worked as a Plumbing Designer for many years at Jacobs Engineering, specializing in commercial design. A passionate and loyal fan of Philadelphia sports, Greg's enthusiasm extended from the basketball court to any arena of play. His love for sports was eclipsed only by his affection for the classic action cinema of the 1980's and 90's, with "Predator", "Commando", and "Die Hard" being among his favorite films. Greg always bragged about how advanced his taste in music was. He had a deep love for classic rock music, but his playlists included a little bit of everything. Above all, Greg's outrageous sense of humor is what all who knew him will remember most about him. His humor and thoughtfulness were the perfect combination for Greg to bring happiness and laughter to everyone around him. Greg is survived by his beloved wife Hoda Mordzynski Smiley, sons Jake and Nick Smiley, and cherished dogs Zeke and Coco. Relatives and friends are invited to Greg's Visitation on Saturday, May 11, 2024, from 12:00 P.M. to 1:00 P.M., followed by his Life Celebration at 1:00 P.M. at the MAUGER-GIVNISH FUNERAL HOME, 24 Monument Avenue, Malvern, PA 19355. Interment will follow at Philadelphia Memorial Park, Malvern, PA. Luncheon will be served following the interment at the White Horse Tavern in the Sheraton Hotel, 707 Lancaster Avenue, Malvern, PA.
