Harvey Cohen

Cohen Harvey October 17, 2024, of Sewell, NJ. Beloved husband of 50 years of Susan Grubb Cohen. Uncle of Debra (John) Cohen and great uncle of Joshua (Lisa) Tranausky. He was pre-deceased by his parents Joseph Cohen and Sarah Silverstein Cohen, his brother Roland and his nephew Gary. Harvey was a graduate of Southern High School in South Philadelphia, Class of 1954. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy and an M.Ed., both from Temple Univ. Harvey was a pharmacist and a teacher of Chemistry at Camden County College and Cinnaminson High School, where he also coached and officiated softball. A music lover, Harvey especially enjoyed the Philadelphia Orchestra, attending concerts for over 45 yrs. He was a member of the S. Phila. High School Alumni Assoc. and was a proud officer of the Gloucester County B'nai Brith. Relatives and friends are invited today, Thursday, October 24th, beginning 10:30 A.M. to PLATT MEMORIAL CHAPELS, 2001 Berlin Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ where Funeral Services will begin promptly at 11:00 A.M.
