HOWARD PETER JR. "STEVE", suddenly, on Oct. 25, 2004, beloved husband of Lisa M. (nee York); devoted and loving father of Nicole M. and Danielle M. Ament; cherished son of Eleanor D. Ament and dear son-in-law of Mary G. York; loving brother of Kathleen D. Ament, Madelynn S. (Michael G.) Giletto and James M. Ament; dear brother-in-law of Howard R. (Alicia Maher) York; also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, especially his loving uncle, Michael Framo. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Viewing and Funeral Sat., 9:30 A.M., from Stella Maris Church, 9th and Bigler Sts. Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. Int. SS. Peter and Paul Cem. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory to his daughter Danielle's Education Fund would be appreciated. GRASSO

Steve,
I miss you so much. After Daddy died you were always there for me. I don;t know what I will do without you. They say time heals all wounds, but it just seems like the more time that goes by it only gets harder. I can't believe this has happened. I'm trying so hard to stay strong, but I don;t know if I can. I am so angry and I don;t know how I'm suppose to feel. Please give me a sign on how you want me to feel. You died unnecessarily. I keep thinking on exactly what happened that night, and it just doesn't make sense to me. I wished I had more time with you to let you know how much I loved you. The day you gave me away on my wedding day was the best time in my life. The kids miss you too so much. Marissa cries alot. This should of never happened. You were to good to die. Like kathy said Why! Why! Why! did this happened. What happened out there?

Daddy, I miss you so much. Not a day goes by that I don't think about how much I love you or how much I miss you dearly. You were taken away from me to soon. I know that your not hurting anymore but I'm being selfish because I want you here with me and your family. I have so much of you in me daddy. I used to curse it but now I am thankful for it. I’m so distraught over your death—it still does not seem real. My only solace is that you are now with Dad. I miss my “bro” something awful. My heart is shattered in a million pieces—it hurts so bad. I regret not spending more time with you and can only pray and believe that we will one day be together again. Pray for us that we are given the strength to get through this horrible ordeal. All I want to say, is why, why, why? What happened out there?
