James Lyons

1941 - 2025

Lyons James March 3, 1941 - January 30, 2025 Jim's 83 years were spent in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey. The youngest of five children, he is survived by his brother, Joseph. Happily married to his wife of 54 years, Patricia Sheridan Lyons, they had a daughter, Kelley Marie. Jim is survived by five grandchildren; Daniel, Sheridan, Violet, Quinn, and Deckard. He is also survived by a great-grandchild, Roland. Jim had a number of varied interests including reading, non-fictional western books, and visiting the areas in which major events noted in the books happened. His weekends were spent watching Philly teams. Finally, he loved sharing his takes of hanging on the corner with his buddies, and high school years at North Catholic. He never ignored a distressed neighbor, always listened to them, talked with them, took them to appointments, and always tried to cheer them up. Arrangements have been entrusted to ADAMS-PERFECT FUNERAL HOME, INC. in Northfield, NJ. A Vsitation will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Church located at 5021 Harding Hwy., Mays Landing, NJ 08330 on Monday, March 3, 2025 from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11:00 A.M.
