Anne the girls and I didn't get to know Pop Pop as well as I wish we would have due to my military service, but the time we did spend with him was enlightening and he has made an impression that I will cherish forever.

Dear Moore Family -
My name is Angie Lombardi, niece of Marilyn & the late George Gardellis. Linda, you and I used to play together on the mutual stoop on Algard St. when I visited from NY - we were about 6 or 7 yrs old. My most heartfelt sympathies to you & your family & gratitude for over the years that "uncle" Jimmy was a great friend to my auntie "M" and the boys & in the yrs of my Uncle George's life, esp when Unc was diagnosed with Alzheimer's. May they all rest in peace and we hope that your memories will help comfort you throughout the yrs to come. Uncle Jimmy was everyone's "dad" & "uncle", from Philly to NY.

Pop Pop was there through the difficult years in my life also known as the teenage years. He helped teach me to drive and he was the only one who didnt yell at me when I backed into the neighbors bushes, my mom and dad said it was because he drove just as bad as I did. I will always remember our conversations and the laughs we shared. He was one special guy. I love you pop pop. Michelle
