Jesse was one of the most talented, creative people that I have ever known. That, coupled with his positive, energetic approach to life made him a pleasure to be around. This terrible disease has taken away yet another of the best among us. Jesse's death is a loss to us all. (Here is a card he drew for me when I was his chiropractor on New York City.)

I am/was a neighbor of Jesse's on 4th Street in Northern Liberties and I am greatly saddened to hear of his passing. Jesse was a man whose life blood was his community to which he gave his all with his big heart and great artistic talent. I found a quote that Jesse left on Facebook about a holocaust survivor that we should all heed, and be thankful that this is how Jesse lived his life.

"This is how you live your life, it's not about mere survival. It's about taking to the stage of life boldly and unapologetically.
Seize life, it is precious and easily taken away."

He will sorely be missed.
