Joan was my neighbor on Woodbine Court in Horsham. She was such a sweet woman, it was always nice to stop and talk with her.
Sorry for your family's loss.

Aunt Joan was so thoughtful and really cared about my family and everyone's family! She took pictures and brought pictures of her sisters and brother, in laws, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, everyone! She really loved her family. She will be missed by many. She was funny, patient and strong. She had her mothers smile and a kind heart. Our thoughts and prayers are with her children and grandchildren. She was a blessing to all of us.

I was very lucky, Nana was pretty young when I was born. Certainly young to be a grandparent being she was only in her early 50's. I remember staying over night as a kid at her old house on Cottman ave. She would pretend to be a cat and chase the mice (Meganne & I) around her house. After that we would finish the night with a snack and usually a board game. She never let us win, she told us "if we wanted to win the game we had to earn it." To this day that was one of the most valuable life lessons I probably ever learned. One day when my children are old enough to ask me about her and wonder what she was like I will tell them that for me she personified everything that was good about life. She was strong, caring, kind, and selfless; she was a great Nana.
