JOHN "JAKE", age 74, on August 7, 2013. Beloved husband of Winnie (nee Hunt). Devoted father of Maureen (Ed) Greene, Denise (Tim) McGarvey, John (Shannon) and Joseph (Kelly). Proud "Poppie" of Christian, Grace, Eddie, Bradly and Brienna. Brother of Joseph, Ronald, Thomas and the late Robert, Jean Devenney, Elaine DeFilippo, Richard, William and Gary. Relatives and friends are invited to his Viewing Saturday, 8:45 to 10:15 A.M., St. Barnabas Church, 6300 Buist Ave., Phila. PA 19142. Funeral Mass 10:30 A.M. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Barnabas Church at above address would be appreciated.

I will never forget you Uncle Jake! You brought more joy to people's lives than you probably ever knew. I always remember giving you the "favorite unlce polo shirt" but you always knew that I have alot of favorite uncle's!! I am so proud to say that I had such a great,caring and loving person in my life. I am so happy that I have tons of Memories of you. I love you!
