Dad- I was so proud to stand there and share my grief with the thousands (yes over a thousand) of people that came to pay their respects. At first the grief was overwhelming, but after a while there was nothing but pride at what you had accomplished in your life. I know in my heart that you were watching us from above and listening to all the stories in the line, and I am sure there were a few embellishments. How happy you would have been and how thankful I am sure you are that there are so many people to give us comfort. We appreciate all of them and are grateful. If it is true what they say about a man's funeral in terms of a successful life - You did it ! I love you daddy and will forever be missing a part of my heart. I wait for sleep to see you again-Jacquelyn

With Love and Compassion, I send my Prayers to Alice and her Family in this time of thier deep sorrow. To Jack: As I began to stand in line at your veiwing, I was in awe of the hundreds (waitng to hear that it was thousands in line!) of people who you have touched with your caring, compassion, and friendship throughout your life. Jack, I know you were there and seen the amazing tribute to you and your life on earth. I have never in my lifetime seen a person who had soo many people who loved and cared about them. I was there at the start of the viewing; 6 PM. I reached your family in the viewing room at 8:30 PM. When I walked out the door, the line was 5 times longer then it was at 6 PM. It was all the way back into the parking lot! And not one person waiting so long complained. I will never forget this Awesome tribute to you. I have never seen anything like it, nor do I believe I will ever see anything like it again in my lifetime! Jack, you will live on in the hearts of so very many. You presence will forever be around the people that loved and cared so much for you. The tribute to your life will go on forever. I know your friendship will be treasured in the Hearts of so many for eternity. You will be there for anyone that needs your love, your advice, your wisdom, your friendship...... You live on Jack...In the Hearts of Thousands!!!!! Have a light with my Scotty, will ya... And give him a bear hug from Mommy! In Peace and Love ~j~ Janet Meskers and Family
