JOHN J., age 91 yrs, of the Fountains of Cedar Parke, Atco, NJ, formerly a resident of Pine Hill for 57 yrs., passed away on September 24, 2015. Husband of the late Mary (nee Bannon) whom he was married to for 52 years. John is survived by his children, Jack and Bonnie Donegan of Atco, NJ, Mary and Harry Carman of Collingswood, NJ, Joe and Kathy Donegan of Mt. Dora, FL, Peg and Ed Logan of Belcamp, MD, Dr. Michael and Phyllis Donegan of Lewisburg, PA and Jayne and Tom Young of Medford, NJ. He is also survived by 17 grandkids, 17 great grandkids and predeceased by one great grandchild.
Mr. Donegan worked as a welder-car mechanic for 44 years starting with PRR then Conrail and finishing his career with Amtrak. He proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He was also a member of the Holy Name Society, The Overbrook Varsity Club and the Pine Hill Father & Son Association.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend John's viewing on Tuesday evening, September 29, 2015 from 7:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. and again on Wednesday morning, 8:30 A.M.to 9:30 A.M. at THE LEROY P. WOOSTER FUNERAL HOME, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco N.J. . A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday 10:00 A.M. at the Christ the Redeemer Parish, Assumption Church, 318 Carl Hasselhan Dr., Atco, NJ.
