Jack was a dear friend and a devoted mainstay of our open mic nights at Square On Square Chinese Restaurant, which he frequently attended with his friend DeeDee. He was a kind supporter of musicians. I first met him at one of my concerts, and frequently saw him as he came or went from his apartment building. I've known him for close to fifteen years or more. I enjoyed knowing his wife JoAnne, and meeting his children more recently.
