JOHN J., on August 28, 2006, of Laurel Springs, formerly of S. Phila. Age 41. Beloved husband of Kathleen (nee Bernard). Son of James and Joyce Formosa. Brother of Marie Formosa and Amy Santana (Nick). Uncle of Michael John, Little John and Nico. John was a 1983 graduate of St. John Neumann High School. His positive attitude toward life always lifted the spirit of those around him. In spite of his illness he never burdened his family with his suffering. There will be a Viewing from 7 to 9 P.M., Thursday eve, and 8:15 to 9:15 A.M., Friday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE, 126 S. Black Horse Pike, Runnemede NJ. Funeral Mass, 10 A.M., Friday, at St. Agnes RC Church, Coles and Little Gloucester Rds., Blackwood. Interment New St. Mary's Cemetery, Bellmawr. Expressions of sympathy may be e-mailed to

It's almost a year that you were ripped from my life. I don't know how I can go on without you. I thought my days would get better but instead I have good moments and not good days. No one will ever take your place. My life will forever be empty. I love you with all of my heart.

Almost six weeks have gone by now, but still too fresh in our hearts! We all miss you so deeply! I love you MY BIG BROTHER!! I will be posting a picture of you soon. I never knew how hard it would be to lose someone as special as you, I wish we had more time, but I know it was a long tiring fight for you, so rest now. I have memories in my pocket.
