JOHN S. on January 1, 2011, of Morton PA. Beloved husband of Milagros High; devoted father of Erika L. El-Naggar and Janeene High (Michael) Bannan; loving brother of James A. (Mary) High, Valerie H. (Keith) Learn and Joseph M. (Lois) High; also survived by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Friday 9:30 A.M., O'LEARY FUNERAL HOME, 640 E. Springfield Rd., Springfield, PA, and to his Viewing Thursday Eve after 6:30 P.M. Funeral Mass Friday, 10:30 A.M., Holy Cross Church, Springfield, PA. Int. SS. Peter and Paul Cem. Contributions to Temple Hospital Lung Center, 3401 N. Broad St., Suite 785, Phila., PA 19140.

Mila, Erika,& Janeene, I knew John back in the 60's when he had a head shop on Sansom St. We had mutual friends from Westbroook Park/ Clifton. I later had the plesaure of working with John as a bricklayer. He was not only a master of the trade, he was a pleasure to work with. He had a thousand jokes and a thousand tricks. John was always a gentleman and a union man. We had great times remembering the old days. He led a rich full life, and was proud of his family. He was blessed and he knew it.
