To the Kusturiss sons,

I am sorry to hear of your dad's passing. I first met John when I was 16 in 1973 and I worked for Don Greene, the jewelry polisher. Your dad would always complain about Donnie's polishing. Your dad was very funny. He once said to Don, "I would like to make an investment in your business, I want to be your partner". Donnie said, "What do you mean?" Your dad said, " I want to buy you a pair of glasses so you can see what the hell you're doing. Look at all the dirt you left on this ring". I would laugh and laugh. Years later, when i worked with Sid Cooper in Media, your dad would stop in every day and he and Sid would argue about politics. Once again, your dad was very funny. May he rest in peace.
