JOHN J. "JACK", suddenly on October 17, 2015, age 64. Decorated Veteran and retiree with 37 years of active and reserve service in the U.S. Army, retiree of the School District of Philadelphia and member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians.
Beloved son of the late Charles A., Jr. and Jane M. (nee Lawless). Loving brother of Michael T. (Elizabeth), Charles M. "Chuck" (Theresa) and his twin, the late Marie M. Fitzpatrick (Michael). Loving uncle of 6 and great uncle of 10.
His family will receive relatives and friends, Saturday from 9 A.M. until his Funeral Mass at 10 A.M. in St. Katherine of Siena Church, 9700 Frankford Ave., Phila, PA 19114. Inurnment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions to Visitation B.V.M. School Foundation, 300 E. Lehigh Ave., Phila, PA 19125 or Maryknoll Lay Missioners, P.O. Box 307, Maryknoll, NY 10545-0307 would be appreciated.

Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove

The Friends of the Medal of Honor Grove extend our deepest sympathy to John's family. He was in the Grove on Saturday at our fall cleanup with his AOH brothers. We appreciate his dedication to the Grove and were happy to see he enjoyed the day and lunch with us.
