JOHN MAGEE Obituary

MAGEE JOHN J., JR. Age 83, of Wallingford, passed away on June 11, 2025. Born and raised in Reading, PA. John was the only child of the late John and Nancy Magee John was a graduate of Reading Center Catholic High School where he graduated in 1960. He continued his education at Villanova University and LaSalle where he received his bachelor's degree. After earning his bachelor's degree, he then served in the Army. Following his service in the Army, he then matriculated to Penn State where he was a Political Science major. He received his master's degree in 1975. John retired after working for the Federal Government for 38 years. John and Ruth shared a love for old movies and politics. He was a kind, sharp and calm man. He enjoyed his lunch get-togethers with his friends from the Reading area. He expressed during his illness, the Riddle staff was a fine skilled group of professionals and he was grateful for the care he received. John is survived by his wife of 48 years Ruth A. Campbell. A Graveside Service will be held at 12 P.M. Thursday, June 19, 2025 at Media Cemetery, 11 Orange St., Media, PA 19063. Online Condolences: www.mcgfh.com
