Jason, so sorry for your loss. He was a great guy, lots of laughs at work and talked constantly of food and recipes. We're grateful we got to see Johnny.

I met John approx. 20 yrs ago at a place called Woody's in Philadelphia. I saw him from across the room by a pole near the dance floor. A friend of his Matt nudged him to ask me to dance. I told him that I didn't know how to two-step and he said that he'd teach me. He took my hand and we went to the dance floor and started to dance. I ended up meeting him at the parking garage on Walnut Street and we walked to Woody's. We did this for some time and that's how it started.
He then asked me to go to a place called Chiller Theater. I asked what that was and he said that I would enjoy it and just come. So I did. It was a blast and we went to many of them.
On March 15th we met at Woody's and he had a ring for me. We ended up together since then. He was the love of my life and I will never forget him.
May you rest in peace my love and we will be together again. I love you

One of many good times shared not to mention all the Broadway shows we took in at New York, theatre shows at Philadelphia, and
Tampa. So many memories, he will be greatly missed.

John, what a loss we are all feeling at this time. I know that mom was there to greet you when God took you from this earth. You love and compassion for others was far beyond measure. We were all blessed to have known John. He had a gentle, loving and a kindred spirit with Jason. He was a lovely addition to our family. An exquisite chef, devoted pet owner to Jake, fan of movies, broadway plays and many performers and stars. Enjoyed traveling especially last September to Las Vegas with Jason and family. He lived life to the fullest and will be surely missed until we meet again.

He was my son's partner for 19 years. He was loving, kind and a wonderful cook that shared a lot of recipes with me. He was fun to be around and we took a lot of vacations together, Las Vegas being the last in September. May he rest in peace. Marge Roberts
