John Sharp and the cross country/track program at Archbishop Wood changed my life forever. I was never fortunate enough to attend one of John Sharp's AP Biology classes but the fond memories I have of being a member of the Cross Country and track family will live in me forever. God Bless you.

While John was never my coach, (I ran for Father Judge 86') he always was looking out for the best interest for all of the student athletes in the Catholic League. Coach Sharp was a great man who taught many of us more than just running. He will be missed and remembered. V+J

Barbara,Lynn, and Jim, I am so sorry to hear of John's death. I remembered him and all of you at Mass this morning. He dedicated his life to the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and especially Archbishop Wood students and I am sure this got him right into heaven. His love of biology and sports gave many students life long gifts. He was always a gentleman and taught the young men in his charge to be the same.He was always so nice to me whenever I wouild visit Wood. Couldn't help thinking of those mornings your dad took all of us to school so many years ago. Please be assured of my continued prayers.

John Sharp was the vocal and spritual leader of the Philadelphia Catholic League Track and Cross Country Coaches for over 2 decades. His legacy is that so many adults and teenagers learned how to live life and love God because of his example!
