JOHNNIE ODOM Obituary

ODOM
JOHNNIE MAE was born March 14, 1951 in Phila., PA. She was the daughter to the late Susie Irene Kincey-Parker and John Gordon, Sr. She departed this life on Monday, July 4, 2011.
She was educated in the Phila. Public School System and worked over 20 years at Allegro Microsystems where she held various positions.
Johnnie Mae was baptized at Mt. Sinai Tabernacle Baptist Church and served as a member of the Order of Eastern Stars.
Throughout her years, she was a loving mother to her son Jamal Kenyatta Odom and an amazing grandmother to Ahmad Jamal Odom who are left to mourn her loss. She also leaves behind one daughter-in law, Felicia Odom, one niece Irene Nave and three nephews, John, Raymond and Tyrone Garvin, as well as a sister-in-law Annie B. Clemons and a host of great and great-great nieces and nephews, cousins and sorrowing friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, July 9th 11:00 A.M. at SAVIN FUNERAL HOME, 802 North 12th St., Viewing 9:30 A.M. Interment Mt. Peace Cem.
.....I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
"My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth" Psalm 121:1 and 2.
