We met when I was 16 at O'Hara. We became life long friends. Had lunch at Treadway Inn a few years ago and talked on the phone many many times. I miss his voice and his humble approach to his priesthood. Love Jo Anne

Our family had the privilege of meeting Fr. Meehan when our son was made parochial administrator of St. Francis of Assisi. My husband did remember him from his days at Cardinal O'Hara. He will be missed by many. A kind and caring priest. May he Rest in Peace. Our condolences to all his family and to those who were fortunate enough to know him. Sincerely, Karen and John Tralies and Family

I have many wonderful memories of Father Meehan, my most favorite is my daughter's wedding. Don't know what he said to my daughter and son in law, but made them smile!

Father Meehan was a wonderful human being and priest. He was a friend of our family and said the funeral Mass for both of my parents.
Rest in Peace Father Joe.

Fr. Meehan was absolutely the best there was. We became great friends. He helped me and my family in our hardest times. I will never forget that. We stayed in touch and would get together at my house or out some where to talk about things or just a visit. To my family he was family. I talked to him 3-4 weeks ago and little did i know it would be the last time. I am going to miss him so much so is my family. I feel an emptiness inside me. A pain in my heart. I am very sorry to the Meehan family it must be a difficult time for them.
