Joyce F. GUYER

GUYER Joyce F. (nee Olsen) Of Wayne, Pa., passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on February 13, 2025. She was 91 years old. Joyce was the beloved wife of 68 years to Richard S. Guyer and the loving mother of Steven (Theresa) Guyer, Kathryn (Timothy) Tuoni, Douglas (Toop) Guyer, Michael (Kim) Guyer, David (Donna) Guyer, Mark, Matthew, RJ, and the late Carolyn Guyer. She was the dear Grandmother of Tim Tuoni, Alexandra (Bryan) Good, Jordan Tuoni, Luke Guyer, Austin (Samantha) Guyer, Georgia (Ylli) Guyer, Rainier Guyer, Marie Guyer, Rex (Emma) Guyer, Jesse, and the late Nicholas Guyer. She is the great grandmother of Greyson, and Cameron Good. Joyce was the sister of the late Harold and Robert Olsen. She is also survived by her niece Leslie (Adam) Spencer and nephew Craig (Sandra) Olsen and the infamous "fake" Salyer cousins – Diana, Alyson (Pat), Eve (John)and Beth (Mark). Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Thursday, February 20, 2025, from 9:30 A.M. to 11:15 A.M. and to her Mass of Christian Burial following at 11:30 A.M., both in St. Katharine of Siena Church, 104 S. Aberdeen Ave., Wayne, Pa. 19087. In lieu of flowers, an offering in Mrs. Guyer's name to either the Richard and Joyce Guyer Scholarship Fund for Tuition Assistance, c/o Archbishop John Carroll High School, 211 Matsonford Rd., Radnor, Pa. 19087 or to St. Katharine of Siena School, 116 S. Aberdeen Ave., Wayne, Pa. 19087 would be gratefully appreciated. All of Joyce's children (and two grandchildren) spent their elementary and secondary years in these school hallways.
