JULIA MARIE BORGER

BORGER JULIA MARIE (nee HENRY) Of Malvern, PA passed away peacefully on August 28, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was 85. Julia was born in Philadelphia, PA to James J. Henry and Julia M. Henry. She graduated from Little Flower High School where she was a member of the swim team. She worked at La Salle College where she met her husband Lawrence J. Borger. They wed in 1958 and went on to have 6 children: Julie Ferguson (Ritson), Lawrence Borger (Cindy), Caroline Browne, Jim Borger (Sue), Tom Borger (Anita), Lisa Murphy (Greg); 19 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren. She lived a life full of love, kindness, and positivity. She was devoted to her children and grandchildren and continuously cited and preached to them lessons she learned from her Father and idol, James J. Henry. A lifelong reader, she was also an accomplished seamstress, and a talented artist. All of her grandchildren have wonderful memories of working with Nana in her well stocked craft room. By far the family favorite gathering place was at her beach house in Avalon, NJ. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by family. Her positive attitude and ability to be fully present were an example to all. Her loving heart embraced all who knew her. Services will be private in the late fall.
