JULIAN KATZ Obituary
DR. JULIAN, November 5, 2014. Devoted husband of Dr. Sheila (nee Moriber). Beloved father of Dr. Jonathan Katz (Dr. Sharyn) and Dr. Sara Ward (Dr. R. Parker). Also survived by 6 loving grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to graveside services Friday, 2 P.M. at West Laurel Hill Cem., Bala Cynwyd, PA. Shiva will be observed at his late residence thru Sunday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in his memory may be made to the University of Chicago Medicine, Dr. Julian Katz Memorial, 5235 S. Harper Court, Chicago, IL 60615

My Mother was a patient of Dr. Katz in the 80's. I took her to her doctor appointments and had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Katz. He was a wonderful doctor. Although she has been gone since 2001 and had numerous doctors during her lengthy illness, I will never forget the compassion and excellent care he gave her. She always spoke of how Dr. Katz helped her. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. My condolences to his family.

It was my pleasure to be Dr. Katz's first office nurse. I worked for him for fifteen years and he always was kind and considerate towards me and his patients. His passing is a tremendous loss. Rest in peace, dearest friend.
