MCCOY LEONARD J. JR. Passed away peacefully in his sleep, on home hospice after a battle with chronic illness, on February 3, 2022, age 93. Len was the son of Leonard McCoy, Sr. and Caroline (Reichert) McCoy, and the brother of Edith Marie (William) Ambs and Margaret "Peg" (Vincent) Rooney; his parents, siblings, and their spouses all predeceased him, as did nephews Stephen Ambs, Vincent Rooney, and Paul Rooney. He was a resident of Rosemont, PA, from early childhood until age 90. Survivors include niece Caroline (Ambs) Niesley, Jr. and her husband Charles, nephew Leonard Rooney, and nephew Thomas Rooney and his wife Gyorgyi Hajdu. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Visitation at 10 A.M. on Saturday, February 12, at Rosemont Chapel, 1229 East Lancaster Ave., Rosemont, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. Interment at Calvary Cemetery of West Conshohocken will be private.
