TORRES
LINO JR. "JUNE", of No. Phila., suddenly on Oct. 5, 2006, age 37 years. Devoted father of Andrew and Dante. Survived by his mother Angelica, 2 sisters Amanda, Mayra and his brother Ricardo, also survived by his grandmother Mrs. Ramona Cartagena; numerous nieces and nephews; and his amigos, the 4 Horsemen + one, Eddie, Kevin, Will, Faze and George. Relatives and friends are invited to Viewing, Sunday 6 to 9 P.M. and Monday after 9 A.M. at O'NEILL-BOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 'B' and Lehigh. Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 A.M. Visitation BVM Church. Interment Greenmount Cemetery.

Hi Tio,
I cannot believe that in less than a month it will be one whole year that you have left us. It gets hard when I see your shirt in my closet or when we get together at family gatherings and you are not there making jokes or just being you. Last year around this time and after it was hard celebrating holidays without you there. But to let you know we have all still kept in contact and respected your memory. I have some good news. You always did encourage me to keep my head up with school and I got a $2000 scholarship that I applied for last Spring and it covers my tuition. I know that your by God's side looking at all of us everyday and I just wanted to let you know that for a while I've been sad, but thinking of you makes me happier. I love you and I miss you more everyday.

I'ts been a little over 2 weeks now and I'm still in disbelief still in shock. Everytime I call Madrina I still think you are going to be picking up the phone. I'm going to miss you so much. I'm always going to remember the words you said to me the last time you came to my house "You're a very good Mom and have a beautiful family". Like always the Big
Brother that looked out for us growing up taking us to the movie,going to the arcades. We had so much fun growing up. I know you are in heaven now still looking after all of us. It has been 2 weeks since you left everyone. It has been hard. I went to prayer last nite with the boys, it was nice. I will take very good care of the boys. Aj and Dante' are doing ok, Aj will have to talk to someone but he will be fine. He has you to watch over him and guide him along the way. He has your phone & a shirt. He is confused. Dante' is ok still being Dante', he misses you to!! Your MOM I am going to help her the best I can. She is so torn apart. Please Rest In Peace and watch over the boys, be their angle!!!! `THANK YOU`

Hi Tio June:
It's Krissy your niece. Where do I begin? It hurts to know and understand that you are no longer with us, but I know that you are in the best place anyone of us could ever wish for. I am a little upset because no one told me about you suffering a stroke or that you had any health problems because had I known I would have done so much more than just ask you for a ride here and there. I would like to tell you that I appreciated our talks and for always giving me a ride whether you were busy or were sleeping to keep me out of the cold or because you didn't want me catching the bus late at night. It's been hard seeing grandma, mommy and the rest of the family so saddened by your departure, but that just shows everyone how much you were loved. You know my Dad only recently became that to me (A dad) and I loved the way you shown to everyone what the epitome of a father is to his children! We will all take good care of your boys! I really wanted you to be there in person in two years when I graduate from Temple (because you always supported me) but it's even better now because you are pushing me everyday now to become successful. I'm being strong for the family and I miss you and I love you. See you soon.

To all reading this message, I would like to start out by saying how sorry I am for loss. June was a great guy above all things a great Father to A.J. and Dante. So it up to all of us to keep his memeory alive by talking about him and being thier for the boys. We all were efected in some way by June's passing so lets all stay together and show how one person can change the lives of all of us. By being thier for our children, by showing them the right path, and by teaching them good over bad choices in life. June was a very good friend and I will miss him.

JUNE, It has been a week since you past. The boys are doing well. They have their bad days and their good days. June, Rob is keeping them busy and helping them deal with the pain. Please be at peace, everyone has been great and has given us so much support. Rest in Peace. You watch over them and protect them . ok. Thank you, be that angel for them. They will be fine don't worry. The viewing and the burial was nice. You had alot of friends who cared about you. Me and Rob are here for your family.

Our family is cetrtainly thinking of all of you at this time. AJ and Dante have a long road ahead, especially after this has passed. It is up to all of us to be there for the kids and always enstill the life of their father. We are very sorry and will continue to help their family grieve as well as celebrate June's life. They have a great mom and and family support. Rob will never replace their Dad, but he certainly can help and guide them through this terrible tragedy. We love and support you always.
