We extend the warmest condolences. I thoroughly enjoyed playing softball with Lloyd. He was a great person to play with even though we did not have a close friendship, he will be remembered in the future. Hang in there and keep praying for him and your family.

We remember Lloyd as an outstanding tennis player from our days at Rockville Tennis Club, Blue Ridge Country Club and Hershey Racquet Club. But Lloyd was also a really great guy and a big part of our tennis community. We will miss him. May God watch over him and his family.

The Montgomery County Bar Association Workers' Compensation Committee extends its sincere condolences to the Nyce family. Many of us were privileged to appear before Judge Nyce for years. He presided over his cases with a gentle professional demeanor and great respect for all the participants. Some of us took great pride in those occasions when we could make him crack a smile. We sincerely wish that memories of that smile, as depicted above, will buoy the family in the days ahead.

I worked with Lloyd as his secretary in the 1980's when he was Assistant Director of Hearings and Appeals. His work ethic could not be matched. Though he was a quiet man, he was always a gentleman. He knew the Public Welfare Manual from front to back. I always considered it to be a privilege to have known him and to have worked for him. My condolences for the loss of a fine man. Rest easy, Lloyd.

Oh my. May God's Grace embrace all the Nyce family in the days ahead. We speak of Lloyd often during tennis at Hershey Racquet Club.
