MOONEY

LUKE ANTHONY SR., 31, of Midland MI, formerly of Wayne, passed away suddenly Feb. 13, 2006, in Midland. He was born June 5, 1974 in Albany NY. Son of Edward P. and Barbara A. (O'Connor) Mooney Sr. He grew up in Wayne PA, attending St. Monica's School, Malvern Prep and Northwood University. He is survived by his wife Christine Marie (Sias) Mooney of Midland; his son, Luke Anthony Mooney Jr., at home; 2 sisters, Susan Bruce and Maureen Kashuba and 2 brothers, Edward Mooney Jr. and Michael Mooney. Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday, Feb. 16, 2006, at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Midland MI. Interment was in New Calvary Cem. Chris and Luke's family,

I am so sorry for your loss. I can not even begin to imagine the emotions you may be experiencing. While I only had the opportunity to see Luke every few years, generally at a wedding, he was a cousin that I really enjoyed spending time with. I'm sure we enjoyed each other's company as toddlers as well. This photo had been sitting in a pile by my bed for the last few months. Luke is the brunette in the first row, and the rest of us are cousins watching fireworks in SIC. The wonder and amazement in his face, with the stars in the background, is priceless.
