Dear Marcel, Eve, Sarah, and Nathanael,
I was saddened to learn of Madelyn's death. Such a wonderful long life of scholarship and gentle kindness. I have very fond memories of her welcoming and smiling presence at family gatherings in Philly. May her memory be for a blessing and may you find comfort in her memory in the days ahead.
Love,
Daniel
