MARC BARAG Obituary
MARC H., 63, of East Falls, Philadelphia, PA, raised in Margate, NJ, member of Germantown Jewish Centre and the Germantown Cricket Club, graduate of Southwest Missouri State University, and local photographer, died on Monday, December 1, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Nancy (nee Rosenstock), two daughters: Rachel and Molly (fiancé Alex Bluhm), brother Scott, and dog Lucie. Funeral Service will begin promptly at 11 A.M. Wednesday, December 3rd at the Conservatory at West Laurel Hill Cemetery, 225 Belmont Ave., Bala Cynwyd, PA 19004. Interment to immediately follow. Contributions in his memory may be made to Abramson Cancer Center, Dept. of Oncology. Arrg. by:

Dear Nancy:
Marc beat me every time we competed, until that evening when I fell down serving to him and quit tennis. Marc later took a perfect group photo of my Germantown Academy classmates on the day of our 50th Reunion. Marc and I would sometimes meet while walking the neighborhood, and no conversation was more enjoyable to me than ours.
On Monday afternoon you beckoned to me as I drove down W. Penn Street, then gently waved me on. I now understand your unforgettable expression. Pat and I are mourning with you.

I am so sorry. Words can not begin to express how I feel. Marc will always be in my heart and memory as a wonderful friend and cousin. From him, I have so many wonderful memories. I am so glad he had so many years with such a loving wife. It saddens me that he will not be there for all the moments to come in all your lives. However, I know he will live on in your hearts, and in the hearts of all who loved him.

My heart is heavy as I here this news; Marc always had a smile on his face at PAMPI events and knew us by name as well as asked if there were any shots we wanted. He is a man that will be truly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Nancy, the girls and the family.
