Not a day goes by that I don't think of this wonderful person-one of the kindest, most gentle people I ever had the privilege of knowing. I will never forget the day AJ was born, never forget that Mar and I talked of having the same birthday. I hope that Vince, AJ, and Mar's family have found some peace.
I hope that people can come back here for years to come to never forget this wonderful lady

I just learned of the Death of Marianne while looking at a friends photos on facebook, and I am both shocked and sadden by this infomation. I will place her family & friends into my prayers for tonight as well as the days to come. We had a few classes together in SHHS, and from time to time I would hear from her through the internet, but we lost communication. Marianne was a wonderful person, and again I will extend my prayers towards her friends & family! God Bless!

Dear Vince and family
My deepest condolences to all of you. It was truly an HONOR to care for Marianne. Although, I did not know her prior to her illness, I quickly could see how I was caring for a beautiful person with one of the strongest souls to have emerged during her illness/treatments. Not only was it an honor to care for her as a loving daughter and mother but as a fellow nurse who had helped so many others in their time of need. Vince, I was so touched by your love story with Marianne and know that you shared something special.. that FEW people will ever know. She was truly blessed with an amazing husband, son, family and friends. I will keep you all close to my heart and always in my prayers.

in such a short life, mar touched and inspired lives of people everywhere. including people who did not know her. may her memories be stronger than her death. she is out of pain and more beautiful than ever. may god fill all of your hearts with peace.i wish you the strength to smile, not cry when you think of her.her little boy will know what an amazing mother has, because im sure she will hold his hand through life. my deepest condolances to the voids in hearts felt by everyone in the loss of mar.. it seems unfair she was taken back so soon, but she was a blessing to have for a little while.. rest in peace angel. you have suffered enough..

Vince (AJ), Smith and Catanzaro Families, May God fill you with His grace during this time of loss. I am reminded that 4/16 was the Feast Day of St. Bernadette. Like Mar, St. Bernadette faced illness many times in her life, but never lost Faith nor gave up. God always has a plan; and as many of us came from Tim's, Matt's, OLC, Leo's and of course Bern's: we can be sure Mar is Smiling down watching over us all.

I give you this one thought to keep -
I am with you still - I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond glints on snow,
I am sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning's hush
I am the swift, uplifting rush
Of quiet birds in circled flight.
I am the soft stars that shine at night.
Do not think of me as gone -
I am with you still - in each new dawn.

Dear Marianne,
You were such an inspiration to everyone around you. You are so beautiful inside and out and me and my family were so lucky to know you and be able to call you a friend. I remember when me and my sister would come to the restaurant you would always be happy to see us and put your lipstick on us. Watching you battle this cancer was heatbreaking to see. You are such a wonderful person and Vince and Anthony are so lucky to have you.

Vince & AJ, The Smith & Catanzaro Families:
No words can ease the pain of a loved one lost. Marianne was such a beautiful person inside and out, she had an infectious smile and although I only knew her in grade school and high school she was just very full of life. I cannot believe she is gone. When I first found out of her illness I couldnt believe it. She was so young and it just didn't make sense. I don't fully understand why God tested her and you but He must have something more amazing planned for her in heaven. You all have an angel looking down upon you and I am sure she is with AJ every moment she can be. God bless you all and I continue to pray for you to find comfort and peace.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.
Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."
It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.
God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.
When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.
I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.
There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.
If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.
And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.
