I am so sorry to her of Marlene's passing. I don't know the cause, but when she was alive, Marlene and I attended some events both in Philadelphia and the Brandywine Museum and she was always a good companion. She listened well and gave good advice. She knew her way around the many stratas of Philadelphia society and its followers, and enjoyed the friendships she made there. They were important to her and she cherished them. She was devoted to her volunteer activities, on the many Boards to which she was elected and was proud of her business responsibilities with corporate leaders. Marlene always dressed well with fashions she admired and bought in New York City boutiques. And of course she looked great, being a former model, with her well groomed red hair a standout in any crowd. She loved her husband, before and during their marriage. We will miss her gracious personality.

I would appreciate her sister getting in touch with me at [email protected].

Marlene was a good friend who you could trust and talk to. I worked with her and knew her since 1970 and always tried to stay in touch but I have not talked with her in the last couple of years, now I am sorry. My deepest sympathy to her sister and I would like to chat with her about Marlene. [email protected]
