just learned of Dr. Abrahams passing .
Im sorry for your loss. I was a surgery resident under his training at Parkview Hospital in the mid-1990s.
He was an excellent mentor and I learned much from him .

To Mark, Nina and Family
I am so sorry to hear this. He was and will forever be one of my most favorite people to have worked with. He never quit. He was stoic and hilarious. He gave much levity with precision. I really cared for him, not only as his PT but as a friend. My heart goes out to you all.

Mark and Nina, my heart is broken for you. I was a resident under your dear dad and, in that time period, he became my acting chief. He was a strong mentor, a guiding star. He was like a second dad to me. He protected me in so many ways, getting input, of course, from your wonderful mom. He loved her with his soul, and told her so often . He was a leader, an innovator, completely his own man. He was afraid of no one, nor did he lower his standards for anyone. I am full of stories that , now, I tell my residents, of funny memories of our times together. I remember him with such love. I pray for all of you, for peace. His memory will certainly be for a blessing.
